the War Cry. Someone once
said that the words Salva-
tion and Army just don't
seem to go together. I totally
disagree. I believe that God
raised up this wonderful
organization through Wil-
liam and Catherine Booth.
You do a wonderful job at
reaching out to those in need
and to those who are lost
and do not know the Lord.

Cover to Cover
Thank you for
being such
a wonderful
servant to our
Father. I was
blessed to read
one of your magazines. I
read it cover to cover. It gave
me insight, strength and
hope for my future. I have
been incarcerated for 20
years and have never read
such an inspirational piece
of godly writings. May God
continue to bless your min-
istry and lead you to other
prisoners who are alone.

Privilege
I have now received my
first two magazines. God
bless you and your staff for
this wonderful opportunity
that has been provided for
us inmates. Please keep
sending them because I
consider myself blessed
for having this privilege.

Intersection
The new Intersection part
of the War Cry is really awe-
some with the different
celebrities you put in the
magazine, and small pieces
about them. Thank
you for all you have
done and all you
continue to do. God
bless The Salvation
Army as it spreads
the gospel of Jesus
Christ for the salva-
tion of the world.

it this way, "I see them as
wildflowers. God has blessed
them to a higher place."

I just wanted to
write and say what
a great article Pil-

In the April 2013 issue, I refer
to the well-written article
"Life with Isabelle."
Our fam-
ily has always had a special
place for the Isabelles in
life. Our observation is that
most of the Isabelles are
happy people, young or old.
They have fewer worries.
They aren't bogged down
by mortgages, gas prices,
an unbridled co-worker
(Matthew 6: 25-34). My
