WORDS TO LIVE BY
"No one can serve two masters. The person
will hate one master and love the other, or
will follow one master and refuse to follow
the other. You cannot serve both God and
worldly riches."
Jesus (Matthew 6:24)
This month we looked at a couple of issues that
hit close to home. It has been said that 1 in 4
people suffer a diagnosable mental disorder
each year. One mental health advocate has
gone on record to say that while awareness
and dialogue is a positive step "these problems
won't be changed with conversation. They will
be changed with action."
The other issue we looked at had to do with
personal choice. Do our decisions affect more
people than just ourselves?
Typically, in this section of INTERSECTION,
we provide questions designed to start a
conversation. This month we'd like to have a
more open conversation. What's on your mind?
Do you have any thoughts or questions of your
own that pertain to this month's content?
Let's continue the conversation...

Napkins are things we use and discard everyday. "A Sketch in Time"
takes the idea of a discarded napkin that has been redeemed by the art
that has been drawn upon it. Life can so easily be discarded as well.
Take comfort in knowing that God specializes in Redeeming the Discarded.
Trapped.
Who can rescue me from
this body of death?
